Résumé
The B-AIR project started as an initiative to revive sound-based creativity and communication with young and many other audiences through new knowledge, artistic content and technological for-mats.
In order to encourage innovative production, the project established a partnership forming a col-laborative platform for experimental artistic, sci-entific and technological research, production and outreach to new audiences. The partner network includes national radio broadcasters, universities, research institutes, creative artists’ associations, also collaborating with children’s hospitals and nursing homes, cultural institutions and schools, thus connecting artists, experts, researchers, radio workers and other professionals from across the disciplines with beneficiaries and audiences.
Through the network, new models of research and production were created for babies, small children, the elderly, vulnerable groups as well as for gen-eral audiences, followed by innovative instruments for assessing the real importance of scientific and artistic work in regard to social integration and in-clusion, empowerment and education, support to families and individuals in the course of lifelong development.
